"I mean, yes, I'm fine in the grand scheme of things, in the 10,000 foot view; I have a roof over my head, I have food in my tum-tum, I have friends and family who truly love me. So, I'm 'fine', but I'm not 'good'." - Kevin Pereira, Pointless Podcast

We tried too hard We don't know where you've been Did it hurt to let go? I was just a young boy then Walking through a pile of leaves A perfect tunnel carved for you and me I don't wanna do anything at all As long as I'm with you, I don't have to do anything at all The wheels keep spinning on and on and on and on If this is what's right, then why don't I feel it? The wheels keep spinning on and on and on and on Doomed to be forever almost something Took me to a field where you laid it down Every word that I wanted nothing more than to hear Well I sat and I shook and I took it in But it wasn't the right time, no there's never a right time to end The lights in the sky It's fine to just sit here No need to ask why Just sit here and wither The neighborhood filled with ghosts Spices and fires we love the most Seeing green running through the streets My eyes ached with jealousy for what I couldn't be What you couldn't see You and me On Halloween I was just a young boy then Longing fast and caving in

"Every critic, every detractor will have to bow down to President Trump. It's everyone who ever doubted Donald, whoever disagreed, whoever challenged him; it is the ultimate revenge to become the most powerful man in the universe." - Omarosa, a woman whose small mind can't comprehend the vastness of the universe and how we as humans on earth have no possible way of determining what the most powerful anything of the universe could be. An anxious object sits, ambivalent and unfazed by worship and terror. Concerned not with policy or position, it locks its perfect edges into the mechanism of the highest throne. Those spry enough to press their ear to its casing only hear the sound of bleakness. Refuge is futile; it is now too late to resist. Humanity has collapsed, battered beneath and below This ominous figure sits unfazed by worship and terror; we are of no consequence An anxious object sits ambivalent and unfazed by worship and terror "I went to an Ivy League school. I'm very highly educated. I know words, I have the best words." - Donald Trump, actual President of the actual United States of America (for now)

Clap for me Contort my brain to think the chance at life was all worth it Pull me from the trench and show me the light before I go black Clap for me Contort my brain to think the chance at life was all worth it Pull me from the trench and show me the light before I fall back "Here's something we can do to change the world right now to a better ride: take all that money we spend on weapons and defense each year and instead spend it feeding, clothing, and educating the poor of the world, which it would many times over, not one human being excluded, and we can explore space together, both inner and outer, forever." - Bill Hicks, Revelations (1993)

about

This album was written and recorded from July 2016 to August 2017, each song being released monthly as part of a podcast that is no longer available. It's now in hell, where all podcasts go when they die. I don't make the rules about that, sorry. I was very young and mired in profound confusion when I made this. For all of its imperfections, it's who I was.

Thank you for listening.
